It All Started With Employee #1
Jamie saw the opportunity to create a platform where property data was free and available for everyone. When arriving in NZ he noticed that with hardly any For sale properties with prices on them – all Auction, PBN etc.
With a helping hand from Michael Gibbs (employee #2) homes.co.nz came into fruition. Our product lead Brayden Gosse (employee #4) and Darryl (employee #5) joined shortly after and are still here today.
5 Years Later
With a few facelifts and better data, homes.co.nz has come a long way. With over 1 million monthly users and a range of new features, homes.co.nz has become a great success that we are very proud of.

What’s Next?
Our journey so far has been exciting and now with access to the wider team at Trade Me, our site will continue to grow and engage NZ homeowners.
We want to create a website based on our love of property. With new additions to the website we are trying to connect with more Kiwi’s so that there is a feature for everyone on homes.co.nz.
