Selling during lock-down and planning for level 3 – Mike Lovell from Just Paterson

The government announced that we will be moving to level 3 next Monday 27 April, the question is “what will level 3 look like for agents?”

What we know is that agents will still be working from home for the main part, but they will be able to manage seller and buyer appointments as long as they adhere to strict hygiene and social distancing rules. They will also need to put in place a robust contact tracing system.

Some good news is that sellers and purchasers might be able to move homes under level 3 as removal companies are allowed to operate again.

Ailsa Dawson, Customer Success Manager for homes.co.nz, spoke to Mike Lovell from Just Paterson. Mike has listed and sold several properties through the lock-down. He has set himself up going into level 3 by embracing technology and upping his communication with sellers and buyers.

Mike shares his insights into how he has been successful during lock-down and the need to adapt going forward into level 3.
